Black Golf Directory and Journey Through 18 have teamed up to host the BGD Empowerment Academy, an inspiring day dedicated to empowering female youth of color through the game of golf. The academy uses golf as a vehicle to provide a framework for our youth to develop their mental, physical, and emotional skills.

Participants will engage in group exercises, insightful discussions led by experts, personal journaling, and engaging interactions with skilled Black LPGA/PGA Professionals and specialists. Throughout this event, Journey Through 18 aims to provide valuable learning experiences and skills that improve their golf game and impart essential life lessons.
